Not everything drawn shines. Not every attempt made succeeds. In the end, “This is rubbish. I am failure” is an unhelpful thought. But “Well, this can be better with some practice tomorrow.” is a helpful thought.
Failure is inevitable. However, we can fail backward, and give up. Or we can fail forward, and learn.
Everyone has the power to choose which thoughts to listen to. The role of a psychologist, a friend, or a basic human, is to help others find those helpful thoughts.
